Re: Group sizes while working up a load?
Thanks for the tips guys,
Do you guys think shooting 3 shot groups is an ok practice for load development with a light weight rifle? I need to get my trigger tweaked than I'll be back at it.
Thanks, Jake

Group sizes while working up a load?
I worked up a batch of 35 gr bergers with benchmark and CCI BR4's COAL: 2.240 per Hodgdon load data. I worked up from 25.0 to 26.6 grs. .2 increase at a time. My ruger Ultralight really seemed to like 26.0 and 26.2 grs. Questions: 1. When shooting groups like this what is your guys average group siz...

I'm maybe 1 month ahead of you right now. I bought the Hornady book as my first and the ABC's 2nd. Should have bought the ABC's 1st.

Re: Best fur friendly factory ammo?
Hi Jake. Welcome to the Forum!! Hope you enjoy our little corner of the web & hang out for a while. I would opt for the 45gr SP's also. But you can get facotry ammo from Cabelas with the 40gr Berger's too. They aren't real tough on coyotes. Fox on the other hand are a bit light & see...

Best fur friendly factory ammo?
Looks like it will be awhile tell I can get my stuff together and start reloading , but It's time to go play! What is the best factory loaded ammo for saving fur? I can deal with small exits as I don't sell the fur. Game will be Yote's, fox, and lynx.
Thanks,
Jake
