Re: Our very own Rick in Oregon has................
My favorite magazine! I read it cover to cover. I glanced past the article but had not got that far to read it. I did tonight. Another great read from Rick. Rick, though about 20 years and 1400 miles separate us, I can tell we would be darn good friends. Glad you are back home and getting healthy.

Rick,
Get well soon brother. I will miss your wisdom and shooting stories. If you don't get back out there soon, skippy will overpopulate Oregon.
Godspeed for a quick and complete recovery

Re: CCI 400 primers
Found CCI BR4 at Bass Pro Shop here in SoCal. Not Exactly local to me but I have a buddy who lives pretty close and told him to call me next time he was in there. I had him pick me up 1000.

Re: CCI 400 primers
Anyone know where to buy anything other than CCI 400s in Southern California? I have 2 local shops here in San Diego area and I can't find anything but CCI 400s. I suppose I will have to bite the bullet and pay the hazmat fee for a mail order.

Re: How do I sight in my new rifle?
I have a Leupold zero point bore sighter and love it. 1st shot on paper, next shot you are zero'd. Just dont try to figure out how it works, dont question the instructions, just follow them.

32gr loads struggling to be faster than my 40gr loads
I have an .204 with a .24" 1:10" barrel. I worked up some 32gr and some 40gr over Reloader 10x. Both shot nice groups. The velocity on the 40gr was in the 3800's (I dont have the exact #s handy, but I think avg around 3840). I found the 32gr struggling to beat the velocity of the 40gr. I f...

Re: Gotta share my new rig...
I'm currently waiting on an AR upper chambered in .204 from John at WOA. 1-10 twist PacNor. Should stabilize the 40gr and I got a 24" so hopefully the .32s will still drive tacks. I'll keep you posted....

Re: 222 rem fabled legend, or not vs. 223 rem
in about a month dad is giving me a Remington 722 chambered in .222 which we inherited from the death of our neighbor. Not a fancy gun but I am happy to get it. I'll probably do some work to it, drop in a nice trigger, etc.... I am also building an AR-15 chambered in .204. I'm sure the .204 will be ...

Re: ar-15
I'm curious what the approximate cost of building a high quality custom AR in .204 is. I'm considering a Les Baer and would be looking for similar accuracy.

Re: Remington's new AR rifle in a .204 Ruger!
I don't own a .204 yet. I was going to buy a Sako (still might) but may dad is going to give me his Remington .222 bolt action. So now I think I want to consider a Les Baer since I'll have a nice bolt varmint gun already.

Re: Remington's new AR rifle in a .204 Ruger!
I wonder how accurate they will be. I spoke to a guy who has a Les Baer SVT in .204. He is a competition bench rest shooter and said it sometimes outshoots his 6ppc. You can tack on another 1000 bucks over the Remington for the Les Baer though
