Re: ? for all you Cooper Nuts

Every time I pop back in here there is always a Cooper thread and I am always happy to show my couple of sticks off. One is probably not what you would expect to see in a Coop but I love it. I have been eyeballing a new one lately in 6.5X284 but we'll see. I have a couple other guns that are in que ...

Re: need help deciding on a new 204....

Dowpet, I have a Savage model 12 LRPV - it handles well, looks nice and has a fantastic trigger. It is NOT a light rifle however - especially by the time you have topped it off with a quality scope. I use it for shooting from a bench, car bonnet or similar. It is not really a walk around rifle. Fre...

Re: Blaser rifles

Sorry for the OT but drumie those T3 lites are nice little guns aren't they. I have a T3 lite stainless in 25-06 and it shoots very well, wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Re: 204 cooper

Did someone say Cooper? Sorry couldn't resist. Bolt on my model 38 is slightly tight, spiral fluted bolt on the 52 is smooth as glass.

Re: Help me find my Cooper

my next one will be either a .17AH or another .204 to add to my collection of .204's. Which right now oddly enough does not contain a Cooper. I like the Olive Drab green one they have at Hendershots strangely enough. Hopefully it doesn't sell for awhile and they will put it on clearance...... Then i...

My new Cooper finally showed up...

After a long two or three month wait my new rifle finally showed up today. In early 2008 after I started reloading I read a post on the 24 hour campfire forums talking about a rifle caliber that was referred to as "the perfect 7". So happens that I started reloading that year and I got the...

Looks like Warne makes a weaver style base for Coopers as well. FYI.

Re: What are the bases and Ring choices for Cooper model 52's?

I may swap out the Leupy's for a Talley set up and see how I like it. I just got word from First Stop that my gun should ship to them by the first week of May. Therefore I should have it in hand by mid May. Can't wait to get this nice Swarovski mounted and the gun broke in.... I have already loaded ...

Re: What are the bases and Ring choices for Cooper model 52's?

BB, my Cooper came with the Leupold bases and they work fine so I'm wondering why you are looking for an alternative? (of course I'm a Leupold fan anyway) Just wondering :chin: Gary Well I have several guns with Leupold bases and rings and have no major issues with them. However I just mounted a Ze...

Re: Which 204 AR is the most accurate from the factory?

I would agree with Hondacr21 in that you will have great luck with a Sabre Defence 204. I have a Sabre Defence SPR 5.56 complete gun that I paid $2000 for new and it was worth every penny. They really make nice stuff for sure. There are alot of AR's out there that are far better than DPMS or Remingt...
