I like the Noslers better than the Vmaxes, but I wonder how the Berger 40 grain bullets compare? The 35 grain Berger's are great. Food for thought.

You can neck die for bolt action, but semis need to be FL. You might want to keep a close eye on your OAL, because if you use a .223 magazine the case on a .204 is 0.09" longer than .223 case.

I think you are right about a 11 to 1 twist, but it might "over stabalize" a 32 grain bullet. The big ad for .204 was it was the fastest factory round (4000 ft./sec+)and they needed a 32 grain bullet to do it. I have a Browning, 2 CZ's, 2 Tikka's . The Browning and one CZ doesn't shoot the...

Less (almost no) recoil from .204 vs Swift, both are really good calibers. Variety is the spice of Life!
