First "Internet Worthy" group- CRT 34's

My 7 yr old son wanted to buy me bullets for Christmas, so I took the opportunity to pick up some CRT 34's . Loaded up some on 27.5 and 27.8 grains of 8208 in a fired Winchester case with BR4 primer. First three (wish I had loaded five) made me very happy. May have pulled the right one in the second...

Re: Scales...Whats are we using?

Gempro 250 for me. Accurate to .02 grain. I was looking for a good scale at a decent price. Did a BUNCH of searching reloading forums. One guy has had his for a couple decades and it is still spot on. Lifetime warranty honored in 48 hours. Just for fun I loaded a few rounds weighing every component....

Re: cracked case mouths

I have a friend who got split necks on the first reload with both Hornady and Win. Brass. Not sure why. I think he used rcbs dies.

Savage feeding hollowpoints (Thanks, Silverfox)

I reloaded some 35 bergers, and they shot well from my Savage 12. However they hung up when feeding from the magazine. I mentioned this in another post, and Silverfox PM'd me with the solution. I took out the magazine, bent the feed lips a bit, did a little filing, and now I'm in business with hollo...

Re: New 20 Caliber 34 & 40 grain Bullets

I'd be in for the contest.

I now have my savage feeding hollowpoints thanks to Silverfox, so I'm good to go.

Time to order up some CRT 34's.

Re: New 20 Caliber 34 & 40 grain Bullets

I would like to give your bullets a try, however my Savage will not chamber a berger hp from the magazine. Is there a chance that with your smaller hp that I would be able to get them to work, or is this something anybody could help me out with?

Re: 32 grain noslers

Thanks, guys. I am currently working up loads with Benchmark and H322. I have started to lengthen my COL, and I have now had them group better than my Hornady 40's, so I think I'm on the right track. I also plan to do some work with H4895 to see how that comes out. Oh ya, the gun is a Savage model 1...

32 grain noslers

Is anybody a fan of the 32 grain Noslers? I don't see too much about them on the forum. I have been working up a load for these and was wondering if anyone has had good success with them.
