223 Loaded with CFE223 29grs and 40 grs of Barnes Varmitator. I pull the third shot. At 100 yds. Total of 5 shot group Using this powder it did not take me more that 30 mins to clean, actually less than that.

Well it has be since 2009 since I did this post and Now I'm in the process of creating my Savage 204. I have aquired 1 308 savage 30" barrel with PTT and 2 223, one with PTT and the other fined tuned trigger. I'm converting the latter to a 204 to carry to Montana this June. Like wine good thing...

Shooting Stool

I'm wanting to purchase a stool to take to the firing range. Any of you guys have and suggestions to what and where to purchase a good stool to carry around.

Jim, I have used wolf with IMR 4895 w/ 35 berger with great results. Only two of the groups were stringed (vertical) which is all me. The other groups are circle shape or clovered. Great idea and something to learn to measure both vertical and horizontal. Will take that into consideration. The coati...

Had the bore checked today with bore scope. Only 1 spec of copper and the rest of the barrel is copper free.

Warning some loads are over max and do not recommend these loads One more thing this barrel has not been cleaned in over 170 round except a dry patch because of the coating on the bullet. Wife interrupted my post to go do honey doooooos, so had to add my input at later time. http://i18.photobucket.c...

Anytime your looking to have some company please feel free to contact me, that is if this economy improves and I can hire some good help to get away from work. Love the view and being there would be alot better. Never hunted any type of chucks but would love to have a lesson from a pro.
