Re: What dies do I need?
At this point, I am only looking to reload .204, but who knows what the future might hold. In the box were dies for a .44 magnum and .357, never opened or used. I do have a guy I work with that reloads, but he mainly reloads for his handguns. Another quick question, why is the norma brass so much mo...

What dies do I need?
What dies do I need for reloading? My friend let me borrow his Lyman expert reloading kit. He has had it for over ten years, still in the shrink wrap. If I get carbide dies, do I not need lube? I still need to buy a couple of reloading books to understand the process. Thanks.

Questions from a new reloader
I have a friend who is going to let me "borrow" his reloading equipment which is still in the box never opened. I have no idea what he has in the box, but I hope to find out shortly. I have never reloaded anything in my life, but I do have another friend who has offered to assist me as I s...

Re: Fun Road Trip
Glen - you said they sell Cooper custom ammo. Does Cooper make any ammo in 204? What is the going price if they do? I don't hand load currently, but am looking into getting into it, but for the time being, trying to find the best factory loads and or custom ammo. Can you order ammo from Whittaker ov...

Re: Tell us about yourself...
It is a tough year for us Irish Fans. Hard to have an offense when you are getting sacked 8-9 times a game. Hopefully it will be a rebuilding year. Glad I didn't get tickets this year.

Re: Tell us about yourself...
I'm Bob from Upstate New York. I have never really been into hunting although I did enjoy shooting and blowing things up as a kid. A co-worker got me into shooting and convinced me to purchase a .17 HMR to take out some woodchucks about 6 months ago. It was very effective but left me wanting somethi...

What cleaning equipment do I need?
I have my new Remington .204 VSSL and love it. After having the scope mounted, took it to the range and got it sighted in. What a blast. My question is now, what equipment do I need to keep it clean. I ordered a bore guide from Mike Lucas. I have some cleaning patches. I have my Hoppe's #9. I also b...

Re: Trying to decide on what .204 is the best
Well I made a journey to Cabela's this morning to pick out my new .204. They were having a special on Remingtons and I ended up with a VLSS Thumbhole. Actually, I need to find a FFL close by. The state of PA has decided to upgrade its database for firearm purchases and shut down the whole system for...

Negative comments about Remington
I heard some negative comments about fit and finish of the Remington. Everyone seems to be pretty high on Savage and CZ. I am leaning towards the CZ 527 Varmint Kevlar at the moment. I figure save a few bucks on the gun and get better optics. I like the looks and feel of the CZ.

Trying to decide on what .204 is the best
I am a newby to this and want to get a new rig to hunt woodchucks, rabbits and other small game. I initially fell in love with the Cooper Montana Vaminter rifle, but I am a little concerned that it is only a single shot. I also looked at the Remington 700 VS SF II, but have seen some negative feedba...
