Re: Interesting conversation
When the primers are inspected to make them match primers so few are rejected that you are basically paying someone to look at them. What is the point in paying the extra cost. This did not come out right. I was at work and kept getting interrupted. It was supposed to say that the one of the bigges...

Re: powder measure
I have a Redding powder measuer that is very accurate. With any powder measure the baffle is the a big key to making it more consistent. I also have a RCBS uniflow that is pretty good. The ultimate that I have is the RCBS chargemaster. The rcbs is by far better than the Lyman in automatic dispensers...

Re: Here we go again.
The price increase will affect anything with metal in it. We do not see any huge increases is powder but the primers are due to go up.

Re: Here we go again.
I work in the shooting industry. There will be at least a 15% increase in September and another 15% increase in December. That is what we are being told for now.

I am using medium rings with a 42mm objective on a CZ varmint kevlar. Any bigger and I would need high rings.

Re: Variances between powder lots
All of the powders that I have checked has had some variations lot to lot, it may be just a very slight variation. Powder as it gets older can also change. We spend alot of time to see that our powder stock is rotated properly. Where I work we always have over a 1000 pounds of powder in stock all of...

Re: Berger Bullets
Does anyone ever shop at Grafs.com. The prices are usually very close to the same as Midway but they do not charge shipping. They only charge a 3.95 handling and insurance charge on the entire order.

I live in St. Louis, MO. I love to shoot anything that goes bang, but do not get to do it enough. I shoot a lot of handgun, rifle, and shotgun. I also reload for them all. I will have to admit that sometimes reloading and guns does get old sometimes, but that has to do with where I work. I am the as...
