Re: Great Rockchuck Shoot!

You guys are a hazard to those chucks at about any reasonable distance it seems. Well done fellas, good write-up and pics. Maybe someday, I'll get after a LD tack driver.

Re: Shiney new .204 (do not view after eating)

I think most of those hits were just flesh-wounds, rub a little dirt on it and walk it off!!! Wow, not much left to eat on some of those. Nice shooting.

Re: Nosler Explosion Pics

A bad deal, I'm glad no one was hurt. Looking at your pics, it is almost unbelievable that it happened during business hours and no one was injured. Thanks for the reporting Rick.

Re: Wild Time w/Skippy and 204's

Rick,What is the velocity of your handpacked snowball?? Wondering if you had built a "drop-chart" for that and determined an effective range yet!!!! Wow, that looks a little different than we were having in Iowa at the time. Nice pics, I'm glad you're a camera guy.

Re: Squirrel Shoot

Great pics Ryan. The extra elevation plus the mobility would be great, just don't forget where you are... that first step off the bench will get your attension!! Awesome shooting rig. Was that part of your crew?

Watch out Rick, with a few more write-ups like that, you will have all of us shooting Coopers (instead of just wishing we were).

Re: Please verify this drop chart for me.

I read a great article in The Varmint Hunter a few years ago, if I can find the article, I will get it to you. I normally just "held over", I am now going to dial my elevation in on my targets this year. If I remember correctly the easiest way was to zero at 100 and then if the drop at 550...
