Re: I like my new Sako!
I think this site put me on JBM Ballistics site, use their calcuation table to get a charts tailored to your load. Use the MOA as your "clicks"...2.18 MOA 8 or 9 clicks with 1/4 inch adjustments. Reset your turrets to "zeo" and just turn to "2" and shoot slightly high o...

Re: Fixed power scope for long-range rig?
Maybe it is just me, but I would think it might be hard to find your target with the small field of view you will have. In the prairies we shoot, there often isn't much to use to "relocate" the target you just found scanning with the binocs. I am always turning the power down to locate and...

Re: WTB 204 Ruger brass
...and Hornady brass costs more than the Win or Rem...what is wrong with that?? the above comment might also be why most offers were for Hornady brass...Love their Vmax bullets for everything except my Rem 204 tube.

Re: WTB 204 Ruger brass
Any interest in parting with half or maybe all (depending on price) of the fired brass and maybe the Win brass also?

Re: WTB 204 Ruger brass
Looking for used to SAVE money, I can get new Win brass at Midway for $25.99/100 regular price when they have it in stock. Midsouth has Hornady for $48.88/100 for new brass plus shipping in-stock now. Joe, that ($50) is a little more than I want to pay for once fired brass. Thanks though. Still open...

WTB 204 Ruger brass
Have a friend who just picked up a gently used Savage model 12 in 204 last night, now need to introduce him to reloading. Any one have a pile of empties that doesn't reload? Let me know what you have and what you need. Thanks. I should have maybe warned him before hand how addictive this can become....

Re: Ruger Hawkeye Predator 204
Avoid posting negative comments on threads selling, that is just common courtesy. Negotiate on PMs if needed. Often fourms post that as a rule on their swap/sale sections. You can only take it the way it is written. Seems right to me, but what do I know, this isn't my home.

Nature at work. That is surprising a couple yotes would put in the effort to take down the adult buck. Shoot a yote, save a deer.

Re: WTB Once fired 204 brass
I will someday maybe use this new one for my walking rifle on the dog towns. I will need hundreds of rounds, not shooting from a bench for the most part. I wouldn't expect any brass to punch one hole groups without culling them down by weight etc. I just don't want to put that kind of effort into co...

Have that one also, priced right, always gives a reading, easy to operate... what's not to like??? A printer would be a nice luxury item to have, but some of us can't have everything!

Re: WTB Once fired 204 brass
I realize that, this rifle will be more of a walk around rig, if all the brass is the same lot the interal capacity should be close and more uniform neck tension also. Thinking this rifle will be used for out to maybe 300 yards; if I cull extremes, I hope the preformance will be with in a half inch ...
