Re: Wipe-Out/Patch-Out Results
My first shot was almost 2 inches from the next 4 shots. It was so hot Saturday, my hold wasn't good and my group wasn't much better....try again on a cooler day. I waited 2 or 3 minutes between shots and the barrel was getting HOT.

Re: Wipe-Out/Patch-Out Results
OK, started Monday and finished on Saturday morning. This guy is CLEAN. Gave it a good scrub with bore paste and have it ready to drop some foulers and then shoot a group to see what happens. Just a little afraid it won't shoot as well as before.

Wipe-Out/Patch-Out Results
I have been reading how this really pulls the copper out, sooo I am trying it. On my second day of patching/soaking now. The first 2 times my patches look like denim from my jeans. This is from a model 12 Savage in 243, maybe 2000 down the tube. My usual cleaning was Hoppes #9 and a nylon brush, But...

Re: What would you get?
You might take a peek at the Nikon Buckmasters 6-18X scopes (decent scope mil-dot ret. for $325 at Midway now), just about right for the 223/204 type of rifles shooting out to 350yds or further, should work well. I use the extra turret knob on the elevation and keep the cap on the windage knob. Run ...

Nice job. The fencer was a great Kodak moment. I will see if I can smuggle the wifes camera out with us next week for our annual PD shoot.

Re: AR reloading problem
If you are still having trouble I would lube the inside of the necks prior to sizing, if you use wet lube on a q-tip you will have to tumble them to get the lube off, might want to anyway for the lube on the outside of the cases. If that doesn't do it and all the above doesn't help, TX204 mentioned ...
