I always thought that would be an unusual cartridge to have, particularly if you don't a have a 22-250. If you don't have prairie dogs or some type of ground squirrels in bulk in your area, it probably rode in the truck more that it was shot. It sounds like an interesting find to me!!

Have an opportunity at an older 40X Custom Shop rifle(223) single shot. You guys are sooooo lethal at 300 yards....I'm not feeling safe at my desk now!!! Wow, great shooting. I need to set-up at 300 to really gain appreciation, but I think those are out of my realm. Dealing on a toy that might get me there though!!
