Re: Wrist Rockets
LOL.................Here, bury that in 'yer ---------------- never mind! Drove up the street a few blocks and parked next to a big open field. Got out - put on my camo jacket and headed towards a little ravine.....................walking slowly and VERY quietly. Within 50 yards of my truck a big Jac...

Wrist Rockets
Come on....................we all had one growing up. I took MANY doves, quail and sparrows with mine. Even a few cottontails. My favorite was the folding Pocket Rocket with a finger pinch of BB's in the pouch. Worked great on powerline doves out to 30 yards. Had lots of dove breasts fried in butter...

Re: Postal Shoot Excuses
I shot yesterday. I, too, cleaned my rifle. :wall:  :hic: I fired about 120 rounds down the tube since I bought her. I had ONLY cleaned it with a Boresnake. I bought a nice Dewey coated .20 cal rod, so I proceeded to run about 50 patches with Butch's Bore Shine down the pipe until they came out...

Thank you, Glenn!
I would say the foreigners got just a primer and the Americans had about 2 grains in them!
It's REALLY obvious if you slow-mo the video frame by frame.

Re: Boresnakes
I have to confess - I used NOTHING but the Boresnake for my barrel break in. I ONLY used the Boresnake in my rifle for the first 120 rounds fired through it! I shot a .174" group with it that way! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l83/mhossack/204Rugergroup.jpg I didn't own a good rod yet - I n...

If the difference is 325 fps between the 32 grain and the 40 grainer...............maybe this little sucker will hit 4500???
Sounds like a smokin' Bobcat load. Hope they shoot.
Are they available yet?

Better start building yourself a NEW rifle............................she's gonna want THAT one when she's big enough to carry it (and you should let her have it!).

Re: Dogs dog huntin"???
I know what you mean.....................I've celebrated the 16th Anniversary of my 21st Birthday! Maybe if you tether him on a few trips he'll get the idea. I would hate to hear that he took off after a double or triple and got mixed up in the middle of them. :( Whatever you do - don't be...

Re: 243 or 257?
Remember, if you opt for the Ackley version you can still shoot factory ammo out of her - it won't make much of a difference in the accuracy department and you'll get fire formed brass. Mine had a .280" neck. .257" (bullet diameter) + .022" (neck wall thickness = .011" each side)...
