My .300 Remington Ultra Magnum (Remington Sendero) is my BEST 1000 yard rifle I own. As Acloco said, a 220 grain SMK is the ticket. BUT...................it weighs 13.5 pounds and until I installed a muzzle brake and a Limbsaver pad I couldn't handle more than about 6 shots. It WAS going to be my 10...

I agree with Skipper.................I would also like to add using a gauge from Sinclair Intl. that measures OAL from the OGIVE of the bullet - NOT the tip. That way if you change brands of bullets that have a slightly different nose profile, you can load to the exact OAL (ogive) as another given b...

I'm going with Rodbolt on this one. I lube every case - including the inside of the neck for the expander ball. I use Royal Bees wax as lube. I use Lee Collet Dies and I size down to the shoulder. I run them 1 stroke then I turn the case 1/2 turn and do 1 more stroke - each piece gets neck sized twi...

When I'm done with a box of 50 reloads I toss them in the tumbler at night..................and let them tumble until I get home from work the next evening. Yeah - they are in there for a long time, but I only use untreated corn media (RCBS #2). I tumble them for so long to get the INSIDES clean! I ...

Admit it..............you just enjoy squeezing your bag! :lmao:
(Couldn't resist!)

Thanks for the tip................I'll try it. I usually 'press' the trigger in between heartbeats. That's why I shoot with a 2 ouncer!

My next Wildcat I'm going to have built is a .20 BR with a .228" neck and a 1/10" twist for shooting 50 grain Bergers. I'll load a dummy round to my specs and have the chamber cut accordingly. I think that is already serious overbore (case diameter vs. bullet diameter) BUT a friend of mine...

Make sure and check the Case Length after the 3rd firing. I bought a Redding case trimmer for $65 new. It works great and is easy on the hands.

Born and raised in the Bay Area. Moved out here (Nevada) when the 'assault rifle' ban was scaring everyone back in 2000. Moving out here was an eye opener - it's nice to know what REAL America is all about! ;) I'm 37. I started shooting when I was 5 and have been reloading for the last 15 years. I'm...
