Re: 204 Ruger dot com Postal Shoot Info and what not.

Well, I just came back from the range and all I can say is that the title is still up for grabs. My groups were nothing to write home about but it was a blast doing it! Maybe I should of waited for a calmer day but you know the old saying..."Hind sight is never wrong!". Very challenging in...

Cracker, just curious as to why you would do it that way? Is there some type of performance gain or something? Another question would be does one have to use the same ammo for all three targets? I don't know why someone would want to change but just curious if lets say someone had two loads/ bullets...

I too have a CZ 527, but it happens to be the American model. I was quite reluctant at first when looking at the CZ having been a Remington man for all my life. I almost purchased an SPS but really wanted a detachable magazine. I do not regret my decision. The rifle is light (even the Varmint model ...

Again this is an awesome group to belong to. Good work everyone!

Thanks for the replys guys. I think that I will go with my original plan and use the 34gr Win for the upcoming season and hopefully use the $ from the hides to pay for some reloading equipment.

LYN : When you say the 32 or 40 gr would leave such big holes in the hide how big would they be exactly? I have never shot a coyote with the .204 so am looking for a reference point. In comparison to the Win 34gr how big of an entrance do they typically produce? Also with the Win 34gr do you have m...

New CZ American like lightning!

Just wanted to pass on the good fortune that I have had with my CZ .204. I began shooting it with the factory horn. 32gr V-max. Wow, can this gun ever shoot this stuff. The first grouping after zeroing in the scope was measured at 0.525", then a week later I shot my second group with the gun an...

What does the article say about the Horn. 45gr SP? I was thinking of trying some out in my CZ to see if they will shoot well enough for some fur gettin/keepin bullets.

Thanks

If this is true then it would be better to sight it in using the highest power possible so as to ensure that the point of aim stays consistant with every shot, no?

How to sight in using a Variable Scope?

Well, I just recieved the call from my gun dealer. My new CZ 527 American has arrived. I put a Bushnell 3200 Elite in 3-9 power on it and since this is my first variable scope what setting do I use to sight it in? Does it matter? I mean if I sight it in using 4x and then switch it over to 8x will it...
