Re: Still Too Much Bullet.
Varmonter, why not just use the 34gr Win JHP. Wouldn't the two bullets be practically the same anyway?

Re: Desert Coyote
That is one nice coyote. Do you experience pass throughs with the Vmax quite often? (Looks like shot placement wasn't that bad, right behind the front leg.)

Re: Day Time Hunt
Don't sweat it, it happens to all that I know of. I find that if I don't think about a shot it happens as planned but the monent one has a bit of time to ponder all heck can break loose. Next time... up, on and squeeze then ponder over the critter on the ground. ( Just wait the first yote I see this...

Re: Upgrading my scope collection
What type of ammo do you shoot in it right now? Also, are you trying to keep the hides? I for one am not handloading at present so have settled on the 34gr Win JHP. There was a picture posted last year where someone shot a yote in the neck and the bullet did not exit and the entrance was super small...

Re: CZ 204
I was in the same situation as you when I was looking for a .204. All I can say is that I sure do not regret getting the CZ. It is very accurate out of the box, feels right to me and the trigger with the set feature is very nice when the opportunity arises. Mine is the CZ 527 American model and will...

Re: 204 Ruger dot com Postal Shoot (Inaugural) Final Results
I have to tip my hat to you real shooters out there. Maybe some day with more practice I'll be able to close the gap somewhat. Congrats to all who participated. It is not how you do on that particular day that is the most important but rather the fact that we get a chance to get out and enjoy our pa...

Re: 204 Ruger dot com Postal Shoot Info and what not.
Wow that is sure a surprise! It was great to see that you were putting all the leg work into getting this postal shoot not only going but also scoring them targets and now I find out that you have managed to round up all these prizes! That is just awesome, and I do not mean the prizes, I mean you ar...

Re: Bench etiquette question
Sorry about my ignorance, but when you guys refer to a "rest stop" what exactly are you talking about?

Re: First Coyote for myself and the 204
Was there much damage to the hide? By the looks of the pics there doesn't seem to be much destruction. Was the yote standing broadside and where was it struck?

Photo section
I was wondering if there would be any interest in an exclusive section dedicated to photos only. Maybe if this was to fly the people in charge could sub-divide the photo section into categories like coyote section, cat section, P.D. section etc.. I know I love looking at pics of all the members acco...

Its always a treat to see young kids getting out and about in the outdoors with their parents. Good story and nice pics.
What kind of ammo were you using? Just curious.
