Re: 204um Challenge News

We have already recieved some frost so you might not be too far off. As far as the built in advantage...I will make sure that I set my target on a north- south plane so that I keep everything fair! But wait one second!!!!! In Canada one Gallon of fuel is 4.545 liters in the States one gallon ...

Re: 204um Challenge News

Skipper, targets made it all the way up here, Sask. Canada, as of Wednesday. (And no I don't know Joe from Toronto! :D ) Was wondering if there are any other participants from the frozen north? If so do we get a handicap since our bullets are more affected by the magnetic pull of the north pole? Goi...

Re: Will you accept the challenge?

Whats the point of this shoot???? I think the correct answer is organized fun! Its difficult enough to run a shoot in person never mind over long distances through the mail. I say let this shoot, like last years resemble and perpetuate the good that this site is about, the love of our 204's. It is m...

Re: What is going on??

I have tried the 45gr Hornady SP, although not extensively, only about 4 or 5 shots. They have shot quite well. I do plan on experimenting with them more and will post results/pics when I get to it.

Re: Whats the B.C of the 45 grain Hornady S.P.?

Sorry Hoegebear but I went to Hornady's website first and could not find any place that offers me the B.C of any of their bullets. Am I just computer illiterate or just missing the boat.(okay, I know its both!) Is this info there? If so could you please help me out.

Whats the B.C of the 45 grain Hornady S.P.?

I know that it was posted in the past but I can't seem to get a handle on it. Does anyone know for sure? I want to say somewhere in the neiborhood of 0.250 but that is only a guess. I've got myself 160 of these little critters and will use them for coyote hunting come November but would like to know...

Re: Best factory 204 load for yotes?

No not as of yet. The largest bullet that I used was the 34gr Win jhp. I do plan on trying the 45gr Hornady SP but did not have a chance this past coyote hunting season. I was told by a nimber of individuals that these 45's perform much like the Bergers.

Re: Best factory 204 load for yotes?

I myself was in the same boat this past year. I ended up trying the 34gr Win Jhp and the 32gr Vmax. The first few outings I tried the 34gr Win. I managed to shoot one coyote with it, a trotting broadside shot at about 90 yards. It put the coyote down quick with shot placement just behind the right f...
