Re: I need CCI BR4 primers
anyway back to varminter's question. I am not sure what primer would be comparable I have been using WSR primers and the last load I was shooting I had pierced the primer and thought I should try something with a thicker cup. Thats when I bought the br4 primers. I worked up a load with h4895 and rem...

Re: I need CCI BR4 primers
went and talked to them tonight they said thanks for your honesty and stuff they charged me the price that they were running at the time 45.99 minus the 20% and the 5.99 I already paid.
I feel alittle better. I hope they are worth every dime!!!

Re: Barnes 26gr V. Grenade
I hope they shoot a little better than the 22 cal bullets. I haven't heard of too many people that have had success finding a load to work with them. I am still trying. got a lot of bullets left but not a whole lot of patience! if the 20 cal does work it should be a fun bullet. but I do know that af...

?? about what to match with 39gr BK
I bought some 39gr bk and I was curious on which powder would everyone suggest? I was thinking about either varget, h4895 or imr4895. I would like smething that if I don't like the 39gr bullets or that particular powder i could maybe use it in my 223 or 270wsm. I have some 10X sitting around but don...

Re: 32gr Blitzking, need base numbers for loading
from what I gather the difference between single and double base is just what its made of. single is nitrocellulose... double base is nitrocellulose and nitroglycerine combo. I don't believe it matters much to the average reloader... looking at the manual it looks like most single base powders are e...

Re: Seat bullets that are not boat tail
I have been running into the same problem with the 32gr for my 204.... When you get the entire thing almost to the seater pluug and it clips the side and breaks the polymer tip is a pain in the butt!!!! I learned that if you go slow enough and it does get stuck on the seater if you just spin the cas...

Re: good suggestions to start reloading
check the favorite loads sticky!! I am not sure who it was but someone broke everyone's favorites into one list. That helped a lot!! Great reference. For the 32gr bullets I would give benchmark a shot!! For me that seems to be the ticket. I had better luck with the blitzkings than the v-max bullets....
