Re: CFE223 anyone?
I'd bought 8lbs from Powder Valley a few months ago, and have used it for some loads, with overall good results in terms of accuracy. I'm getting ready to leave for NM this week for a three day coyote hunt and needed to decide on my .17Rem load for my AR. It came down to W760, Benchmark, IMR8208 and...

Re: Ruger Mark 77 MKII .204
I've got a 77 MKII heavy barrel that's real shooter.....bought it when they first came out....great value for the $$. Is the one you're talking about one of these? It's the target, varmint format....gray barrel and action. I wouldn't hesitiate....and I expect some more folks will chime in shortly wi...

Re: CFE 223?
Always eager to try the latest powder, I bought some from Powder Valley last year.....I've used it so far in my .223 AR, .17 Rem and .257 Roberts. I haven't run any of it over the chronograph so have no velocity data to report. I was happy with the accuracy in the .223, but not so much with the .17 ...

WTB 17/204 Reamer
I've got a Tikka 595 in 17 Rem with a heavy barrel. I've ordered a .17 barrel from Shilen, and plan on having my local gunsmith re-barrel the Tikka to 17/204. I would like to rent or buy a reamer that's been lightly used....or failing that I'll need to order a new one. gtw217@gmail.com

Re: CFE too slow 4 me
Thanks for posting....I've bought some CFE but have only used it for my .223AR.... I've been very satisfied with IMR8208, but am one of the guys who just has to try pretty much everything that comes down the pike! FWIW, the Hodgdon online data site reflects well under a 1% variation from 8208...

BK: 26.7gr under a Hornady 60gr Vmax, Rem 7 1/2 primer, Win brass......and it may not be very important, but I treat all my bullets with WS2....
