Barrel Mounted Chronograph
I thought this might be of interest....and I"m not selling anything....I'm just a customer. Setting up and dealing with a skyscreen chronograph is a PITA based on my experience....and yet what a huge difference they make in load development and evaluation. When I ran across this product, I bit ...

Re: i figured out my brass problem
What bullet/weight? What primer? What are you using to seat the bullet? You need to clear up what you mean by the "3.550" vs. 3.548"?? What's that? Did you start at 25gr of RL10X? Why so high? If not, where did you start? Where did you get your data from? Just trying to be helpful.......

Re: CFE223 range report (finally)
I haven't tried CFE223 in my .204s, but I recently posted this at the 6BR forum website...might be of interest. I've got an F Class Savage in 6BR and a NF BR 12-42 scope. I'm using the 107SMK bullet, treated with WS2. I'm shooting at 200 yards. I'm posting this for a couple of reasons: one, I think ...

Re: Reloading at the range?
I agree that in my case as well, the wind was almost always a problem....and except for benchrest, don't really see the need for loading at the range.
Anyway....Sinclair sells this, and might be of interest to you....

TD-Max: I would seriously doubt that any "hunter safety" course will pass muster for a state requiring training prior to CHL issuance. Regardless of when taken or records kept, the courses are completely different and the curriculum specific by statute for legally carrying a handgun concea...

Re: Need a new and better scale.....
Not a benchrest shooter...but here's my take on it....FWIW I'd guess the RCBS 10-10 scale would be the most accurate. Although I have one and use it occasionally, day in and day out, I go with my RCBS 1500 Chargemaster.....good enough for "government work" 8) As a member in good standing o...

Re: First Loads with the 204!
mvpal: have you tried the 39 Sierra BK's? Lot's of guns that don't seem to like the 40gr Vmax's will shoot the the 39 SBK's into bug holes....just a thought.

The Midway site says that it's due in stock 2/21.....
Edit: I mis-read your post....expecting to see .221 FB.... ....don't see the 20VT listed.......
I see the 17 Rem is due in stock on 4/18....we can always hope!

Re: Simmons Predator Quest Scope
My experience of Simmons quality, though it hasn't been recent, was not good.....
I'd forget the "Predator Quest" marketing gimmick, and look at a Nikon ProStaff or Redfield......
JMHO,
George
