Re: How often do you clean your brass?
When I handload, I"m doing all that's reasonalby possible....some maybe not always so reasonably  ......to make quality ammo. I can't prove that "clean" brass has anything to do with accuracy, but for me, in my own mind, it's important to strive for cleanliness, consistency o...

Re: Elite 4200 6X24X50, 30mm
No....I don't have experience with that particular scope. I've got two Burris Signature 6X24's which I like alot...along with a Weaver GS 6X20 and a Leupold III 6.5X20, and some smaller power scopes. I'd guess that a 3.5X10 or 4.5X14 might be perfect for what you're looking for. I just know the Bush...

Re: Elite 4200 6X24X50, 30mm
The Elite 4200 has a real good reputation, but I think the big question here is what are you going to use it for? Target? PD, Groundhogs? Coyotes/Foxes? Depending, the 6X24 may be too much power. Just a thought......

Re: Postal shoot gun pictures and descriptions
It has it pluses and minuses. It's operated by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office and has been open about a year: 100yds, and 200yds on Wednesday only. They also have a handgun/rimfire range. There are railroad ties outside of the bench area, just above the line of fire, to keep folks from shootin...

Re: New 204 ruger owner - hello out there
Welcome to the forum....you've fallen in with a great bunch of guys. I've got the Ruger .204 you bought, and have been very satisfied with it. Folks look at my targets (well, at least some of them ) and ask what I did to get it to shoot like that....and it's straight factory. Good luck! George

Re: Postal shoot gun pictures and descriptions
Here's my Ruger M77 .204 set up at the range. I've made copies of "The Target" and did some practice this morning....though it's almost too hot down here. I also included a photo of my Rem 700 VSSF in .20 Vartarg. They both have Burris Signature 6X24 scopes. http://www.fototime.com/2BBB2F6...

Re: Trying to decide on what .204 is the best
I'm very happy with my Remingont LVSF....which is a good size and weight for a carry rifle for the hunting needs you describe. I've also got a Ruger M77 HB, and the Rem is a good compliment to the heavier Ruger. Check out the LVSF.....I think it may have gotten some varied reviews here, and others m...

Have you had an opportunity to try Alliant's RL10X? I've been very satisfied with 25.1gr with the 39BK....your mileage may differ.....

Skipper: what about FL sizing without the decapper/expander assembly, and then opening up the neck with a mandrel in a body die??

527 American
I had one of the above for a while, but sold it. I found the magazine to be a nuisance...and kind of "tinny", but my biggest beef was the action: bolt was very rough, and I didn't feel like it was that well made. Maybe I wasn't patient enough, and it would have improved....but patience isn...

Rem
In the last couple of weeks Rem 7 1/2 BR's have reappeared on the shelves of my dealer......and CCI's have been in abundance throughout. Powder Valley is a good supplier, and they've had primers when others haven't.
