DPMS .204 Upper For Sale

For Sale: Very lightly used DPMS .204 Ruger Upper for sale. The bore is in excellent condition. It has the 24" fluted barrel. I bought it about a year ago, and it's been to the range a few times, and otherwise has been in my gun safe. It's very clean inside and out, and comes with charging hand...

Re: 204 vrs 223

They overlap in a big way when it comes to their capabilities: pd's, foxes, coyotes, paper punching, etc..... Ideally a man should have at least one of each if not more (I've got 3 of one and 2 of the other). If, however, I was forced to make a choice, I'd go with the .204 since I believe it will do...

22 K Hornet Bullet Question

A friend and I are going to Northern NM at the end of May for three days of pd shooting. I haven't completely decided on the "arsenal" yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm taking my Anschutz 17HMR, my Encore 17AH, my Ruger .22 K Hornet and one of my 20VT's....oh, and maybe a .204 just in case........

What, if anything do you do with your WS2 or moly barrels after cleaning.....before heading out to the range or hunting? Dry patch? Light oil? Nothing? Thanks.

Re: harrell powder measures

I have both, and use the RCBS Chargemaster almost all the time. There's no doubt the Harrell's measures are first rate quality, and many on the board here will swear by them. For my loading I just find the electronic scale and dispenser more convenient and gets the results I require. I'm sure a bunc...

Re: reloading rooms/benches

I've recently "reorganized" my reloading space. In addition to a small bench where I have a vise and a Hornady single stage press attached, I bought four unpainted cabinets and covered them with a 60" counter top from Home Depot. I also added a large cabinet, where I keep powder, prim...

Re: Taking a barrel backwards?

Thanks.....I've decided to keep on with the WS2....bought some Sierra 32 grainers, and hope they'll shoot as well in my DPMS upper, as the Sierra 39's do in my Rem LVSF and Ruger 77VT......they're in the tumbler right now. Will report.

Re: New to the .204 Ruger.

Welcome to the forum! I have the same rifle, have had it for several years, and found that it shoots a wide variety of bullets and powder...not finicky at all....I think you'll enjoy it, the caliber and this forum..... I have to warn you though that .20's are habit forming :!: : I've got 3 .204's an...

For Sale: Ruger No. 1V 22-250

For Sale: Ruger No. 1V Heavy barrel in 22-250. The rifle is extremely clean inside and out, and the bore is pristine. The rifle has less than 200 rounds through it, the bluing is great, and there's one very small "ding" on top of the buttstock. I tried to photograph it, but I don't think i...

Taking a barrel backwards?

I've used WS2 with bullets for several calibers....and am not necessarily unhappy with the results. I'm interested, though, in what I would need to do to take a particular rifle and go back to naked bullets? Any comments or thoughts welcome.....thanks.
