Re: Update on 8208 powder
I found a store that said they had 14# of this. I haven't checked price plus it's an hour and a half away.

Re: Update on 8208 powder
Looks to be VERY hard to find at this point. I'm looking to get my hands on some here in WI. Thing is do I try for the 8# jug right away or dabble with a single pound?

Up to date burn rate chart?
I found one with a format that I like here: http://www.gswagner.com/bigreloading/components/powderburnrate.html Problem is it seems to be missing some key players like 10x and of course 8208. Any suggestions? I like the check boxes so I can mark off the ones that I have. I suppose I could use a high...

Re: Summer Shooting with the 204
Same in my Sako. Surprising to me the same loads worked in my Remington too.
Too bad it's over sugested max it would be a great factory load.

I'm really glad I bought my BR Pivot Lite back when Rick was still doing them!

I don't have all the fancy stuff on mine, but is that a 10/22 sunk deep into the wood?

Re: Summer Shooting with the 204
I'm hoping mine were just flukes. Made no sense to me either. No sticky bolts, just noticed them in my ammo box that way. Pretty sure these were from 39BK's if memory serves.

Re: Summer Shooting with the 204
I had a few of my 26gr 10x loads pierce primers a while back. I never noticed when or why, but do keep an eye on them. These were with CCI 450 thick walled cups. Figure it was probably heat related, but again I did not realize that it was happening at the time.

Re: 204 brass
I have some here. Not sure how many though, maybe 100pcs. It's has been my experience that it is virtually impossible to uniform the primer pockets on the Hornady 204 brass. They are tighter than a Nun's...

Re: Anybody using Vihtavouri?
I did a search and found 3 recent and 2 old. The 2 old were all postal shoot and winners circle.

Re: Pig Bomb
The big issues I recall were:
1) They are quite smart
2) They tend to live in VERY thick cover
3) They are big, mean and nasty
I really do think that the sport needs a boost though to help curb the population and spread.

Re: Anybody using Vihtavouri?
Thanks I'll try that search. I tried a search of N133 prior to posting assuming it was the better choice and got a mess of posts, but hard to find any REAL info.

Re: Anybody using Vihtavouri?
I've been hooked on the 32 and 39 SBK as they shoot so nice in my Sako and the same loads work well in my Remington as well.
