So Rick, how much different are your loads between the two guns?
We were planning Memorial Weekend, but one in our party can't make that and we are still finishing up building our house so we'l probably reschedule.

Glad I bought mine from Rick.

Re: Howa's Any Good?
I had a Howa 1500 stainless thumbhole with VXII 4-12x40ao. Sold it for $800 with trigger, bedding job and bore guide.
Plan on a trigger for any Howa as they are terrible and not adjustable near as I can tell.

Holster for MKIII Target with Ultradot
I never take the darn thing anywhere because it's wel big and clumsy and I don't want to knock it around. I'd like to find some sort of holster that I can use to carry, and for storage.

Re: MK III Hunter
I went with the Ultradot Match Dot as it has a bunch of dot sizes (2,4,6,8 MOA) selectable, as well as a wide range of intensity. The dots go down to a nice fine point. Sorry I don't know more detail, but the thing works nice! http://www.larrysguns.com/Products/Ultra-Dot-Match-Dot-30mm__UDMD30.aspx ...

Hoppes Bore snake
I think these are the neatest thing since sliced bread, but has anyone ever evaluated how good a job they do? I was really surprised at how dark black my gun patched after running one through twice. I do plan to do some more testing and to make absolutely certain that I did not mistakenly fire the g...

Re: PLEASE HELP
Better to have extra no doubt. My first trip was last year Memorial weekend. We played around a bit Friday eve, had a heck of a day Saturday, and had windy/rainy/cold Sunday so we packed it in. That said, we were satisfied with one good days shooting and even at that it was only a partial day as we ...

Re: ? on TIR
I'm far from a professional reloader, but what Rick describes sounds like something that a Forster Co-ax press would pick up on automatically with their floating shell holder. I have this press and their Match dies and they work awesome. I haven't ever checked any runouts though. My reloading techni...

Re: Primer piercing?
Did a quick sampling of my spent brass. This includes my hand loads and factory ammo. All had similar primer rings/cratering except for the American Ammunition which was the biggest POS I have ever seen. I also consulted with another, more seasoned reloader who has the exact same gun and worked to t...

Yeah, what Rick said to a T
Winchester brass has done well for me. I don't have a lot of firings on it though.
I have Federal, Winchester, American, and Remington brass from factory ammo that works fine. It's only the Hornady that has tight primer pockets...

Re: Which 204 rifle for a carry coyote rig
I just picked up a LVSF for a light carry gun and really like it. If Sako made the Finnlight in 204 I'd have probably went that direction, but the little Rem is pretty cheap and has a $50 rebate. They are being discontinued so get one while you can.
