Re: Second Heavy Varmint rifle 22-250 or 6.5mm
Looks like time is going to force my decision. Not a lot of time to get a new rig rebarreled so I'll likely leave as a 22-250 and pick up the 260 quest later. Maybe a different platform altogether like a Kimber. Figure if it gets windy I could snap off a few with my deer rifle just to prove a point...

Re: Started on my Reloadiong/Gun room
The Pics have inspired me.Yesterday I cleaned all the boxes, empty powder kegs, etc, out.Couldn't believe all the long gun boxes I had,and don't know how they got there.LOL.It's all the Shotgun wads, cases, etc, that take so much room, plus four MEC presses;three moveable for storage, but need to get them...

Re: Can you smell it?
I haven't found the video clip yet, but I have it DVR'd. Quick Draw McGraw I believe it is titled double barrel double and Billy the Kidder read off his preferred menu.

Re: Tumbler
Next up how big are these machines?
The Dillon 750 specs at 12" diameter and 12" tall. This is a pretty niuce size. The Dillon 2001 has no size spec on their site. Haven't looked for Lyman specs yet.

Re: Tumbler
Thanks guys
Do I want/need a media separator too?
I don't need a ton of capacity for either. Would be nice to have a built in timer control so I could set and walk away.

Re: OFF TOPIC........FYI
Truly sorry to hear this. I lost my Grandmother in 2006 to lung cancer round 2 and my Dad in 2008 to a brain tumor. I must say that Home Hospice care was a tremendous help through it all. Please don't take this as forward or pushy, but my suggestion is to equip your home as best you can for handicap...

Re: I'm worried: 32 gr VMax
Pick up some Reloader 10x to go with the BK's and you should be in really good shape.

Re: Started on my Reloadiong/Gun room
Started to move some stuff in. I stand corrected on the round per drawer count. The 204 rounds in the MTM R100 boxes I can get 1200/drawer with room to spare. There are 5 of the short drawers in the first cabinet alone so you get the point. I'm hoping to find dimensions for the MTM RM100 boxes for s...

Eezox
Wanted to do some lube on my deer rifle and was reading how guys really like Eezox so I picked some up. Started with my squeaky sling swivels and it worked great. Figured the rest of the gun (bolt etc) could use a dab so I took care of these parts right away too. Then I got the idea to try to see if...

Re: Started on my Reloadiong/Gun room
Nice setup, but I hope I never acquire that much stuff.
No I'm not in denial, truth be told I didn't do much shooting at all last year. This year I hope to get out more though.

Re: Started on my Reloadiong/Gun room
The room started out as a root cellar/cold storage, but then I got better ideas. I can still store some veggies and survival stuff in the back. The walls are all ICF and clad in drywall. The ceiling is just 6" thick solid with 1/2" rebar on 12" centers. It has it's own loop of radiant...
