I put the Mueller Eraticator 8.5-25x50 on mine about a year ago and have been extremely happy with it. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Does anyone know......
The factories use non-canister powders for factory loads, usually specially blended for exactly what they are trying to achieve. You cannot match factory velocities in the 204 and still stay safe in regard to pressure. You cannot buy these powders. Be content with the most accurate fast load you wo...

Re: Timmney Trigger
New to this forum and I've just bought my first Ruger Left Handed rifle. Hawkeye 77 in .204. I would like to replace the 6 pound pull trigger with a lighter one as most of you do I would guess. My question is does Timmney make one? Thanks, Dew You have the LC6 trigger and have a 6 pound trigger pul...

Re: Alliant 10X
Get some Bore Tech C4 Carbon Remover and follow the instructions (you'll need some nylon bore brushes). This stuff removes powder fouling better than anything I have used in a long time. I use Barnes CR-10 for copper fouling, but followed by Bore Tech's C4 it's amazing how much powder residue came ...

I have to agree.okbob51 wrote:Nikon is....99 percent of the the glass of the S&B and 50 percent of the price. Unless you are a guide and spend 6 hours a day glassing you probably don't need the extra 1%.

Re: Bino Rant
Pentax has some of the finest bino's in the mid range out there. Equal to some of the higher priced. Yes I wear eyeglasses.Captqc wrote:Acloco, I received an e-mail about a deal on Pentax. Have you had experience with them? They are only $189 so they are in my price range (I'd like to stay under $250). Gary

Yes, I tried it on my rifle and the groups opened up so I went back to having some pressure up front. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Mine loves 160gr Sierra BT's. Tried lighter weights and the groups just get larger. ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Re: CZ or savage
I have the Savage 16. After sending it back to the factory for a keyholing issue (they put a new barrel on it) it shoots just OK. Wish I bought the CZ or a Cooper. ![mad ](./images/smilies/mad.gif)

Re: New Scope
Graham: Glad you're happy with the new Nikon. Remember though, that you were comparing a low-end Lupy to a high end Nikon. Regardless, glad you're happy. I hope it gives you many years of good shooting/hunting. Ahab: As the Monarch's are fairly new, only a few decades of hard use would ever reveal ...
Re: New Scope
Thanks Rick, I think I am really leaning towards the Nikon Monarch 4-16X42. I really like everything Nikon has done with it. I Think that Leupold is just selling their warranty to be honest. I have heard from several others that the Monarchs are neck and neck with the VX-III's and they are about 10...
