Re: Chrony Ballistics Software
So GACOP, why didn't you send it back? I understand they do a good job of standing behind their product. ![roll ](./images/smilies/roll.gif)

Re: Why buy American?
Sorry Rick, but you have no idea what your talking about. I can understand your brand loyalty but blindsideness to the facts doesn't become you. Here are just a few factoid websites refuting your opinion: http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showgallery&Number=1751750&page=9 h...

Re: Why buy American?
Yes, Leupold makes a decent scope but much of the parts are outsourced, (Read Asia) and assembled here. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Another choice would be the Nikon Buckmaster refurb at Natchez. I just picked up a 4-12x50 and it's about as bright as my Zeiss. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: shelf life of powders
Haven't had much go bad even though some was over 35 years old. Did have one can get "red". More often than not I discard powder for other reasons like not meeting my load criteria. It gets sprinkled in my wife's garden as it is an excellent fertilizer. ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: Taurus .357-2" ~ Opinions?
Ahab: I'm wondering if your wife has ever practiced with her .357 and full house loads in that ported revolver in low light situations. I've shot ported revolvers in low light, and the flash with full house loads is virtually blinding because of the porting. Just wondering how your Mrs. does with t...

Re: Taurus .357-2" ~ Opinions?
My wife has the Taurus Titanium Model 617 .357 snubby. When we go to the range everyone is amazed how well she shoots it. It's ported and has the ribbed grip which really controls recoil. Yes, she shoots full house .357's. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
