I love it. Very easy to carry in the field and fun to shoot. Very accurate as well. The set trigger did it for me. It is by far the best shooting rifle I own.steve wrote:nice dog and how do you like your cz?

Success on a windy day.
Got out this morning in about 10 mph winds. Second stand I started out with jackrabbit-10 minutes, lucky bird-10 minutes, and then northern flicker-10 minutes. At the 30 minutes mark, I switched to pup distress for about 5 minutes and turned it off and waited. At the 40 minute mark this fella come o...

Re: Varmit grenades
I was thinking the same thing on the 400 primers. I am stepping up to 450 from 400 on my 40gr Vmax loads now that I am getting close to max loads.

Re: Little range time this morning.
Thanks silverfox. I appreciate the info. I have noticed most 204 shooters are using other than the 400's. I will stop by the local gun shop and see if they have the 450's or the BR-4's. I know he has the 450's. Thanks again for the info. I greatly appreciate it.

Little range time this morning.
Loaded up some 40gr Vmax and ran a couple down the tube this morning. 40gr Vmax 27.3gr H4895 CCI 400 Small Rifle Primer 2.315 COL Seems to like it a little closer to the lands. With the magazine limitations of the CZ I can only get a COL of 2.320 to fit. The max COL in the rifle is 2.350. Gonna alwa...

Hey CZ 527 guys!
I just figured out that the closest I can get to the lands with the limitations of the magazine is around 2.320. The actual max COL measurement touching the lands in my rifle is 2.350. I was wondering what COL you guys were using to work effectively in the magazine.
Thanks for the info.

Re: Bushnell 3200 Elite
I agree as well. The Elite series optics are hands down the best buy in the market today. I will be getting another one whenever I am in the market for a new scope. I did find out however that the Elite series offers a compact 3-10x40 that is an inch shorter than the standard 3-9. I guess I have bee...

Re: 204 case trimming
Check http://www.kinneman.com and check out the "possum hollow" trimmer. Buy the adapter to use in a drill. Works VERY well. Indexes off of the shoulder of the case. http://www.kinneman.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=119 Call Dan and ask for the power adapter. Thank you very...

204 case trimming
I am currently trimming my 243 cases using the Lee case length gauge and a manual trimmer. The problem is that Lee does not make a case length gauge for their manual trimmer below a .22 caliber. I need to know what you guys suggest for the 204. I am probably going to have to spend the money and get ...

Nice lookin cat! That really does seem like a big female. Did you weigh her? Sounds like you were nice and patient with your stands. Thats what it takes if you want the kitties to show. Way to go! Thanks bullfrog. Yeah I thought she was heavy too for a female so I weighed her and was surprised with...
