Re: Perfect Predator rifle.
6.5 Creedmoor all the way. High BC, low recoil, true 1000 yd rifle, beats a .308. Use 140 gr bullets and get min. fur damage

Re: WTB Jackson Varminter Stock for Cooper M21
I had the same problem with my Coopers. I found a cheek rest that straps on made by Blackhawk. That did the trick. The rest is adjustable by removing foam pads the are internal. Hope this helps

Re: question on a new cooper 204
Be warned!!!! The Cooper Curse is REAL I just ordered my third one in .223 it will sit in the safe with the 6.5 Creedmoor, and the .204. Rick will tell you they are worse than drugs!!! They seem to multiply in the safe and are so satisfying to shoot. My 6.5 just gave me a 2inch group at 500 yards wi...

Re: another cooper question ?
Cooper has moved down he road to a a former log home plant and now has a state of the art shooting tunnel. The grand opening of the plant is May 3rd. Some of my shooting buds and I are going up to check it out. I will report back when we return. I here they have a lot of new more precise equipment. ...

Obama
Did anyone notice the pic of Obama " Shooting Skeet" with only one choke tube in the gun? So obviously staged it is sad. Check out the cover pic on American Hunter Magazine. Anyone who shoots an O/U would know better as it puts extra pressure on the barrel with no choke or flush chokes.

Re: Valquartzen 17 HMR Anyone have one
My shooting buddy has one. It is one of the most accurate rifles I have seen. With no wind I have been able to shoot .5 in group sat 100 yards on a regular basis with it. They aren't
cheap but they really shoot. Hope this helps.

Re: Old Powder
About a year ago a friend gave me some old powder that his father had. When I opened acan I too noticed a rusty residue on the powder. I called Dupont and wa advised to NEVER USE powder with the residue as it can be very unstable. They reccomened using it in the rose garden , which I did. I'm not ta...

Re: Forum rat rodeo
Rick, where in eastern OR.? I'm in Caldwell ID and we can shoot 5 miles from my house on public ground but it gets pretty crowded in the spring. It would be fun to meet some of the other members. Are there RV facilities close to the ranches? I also have access to a ranch at Unity. Lots of targets an...

I am not aware of the LRPV being available with a thumb hole stock. Part of what makes them what they are is the stock and bedding along with the trigger
