Re: Cooper rifles
I have been shooting my Cooper for two years, with no complaints at all other than the "Cooper Curse". I like it so well I named my new Lab Cooper! I put a Nightforce on top. I know it is expensive, but for a gun I shoot all the time at ground squirrels it was worth it. I am now on the hun...

Re: Cooper Rifle Triggers
The Cooper triggers are very good and they are adjustible. If you want a particular pull wt., you can have the trigger adjusted by the factory. My shooting buddy was in Stevensville last summer and he dropped his two Coopers off in the AM and picked them up that afternoon with both triggers adjusted...

Re: Do you think a 22 rimfire is a handicap with a good shooter?
I just finnished testing a bunch of different brands and loads of .22 rimfire ammo. The difference in different guns is amazing. I think in the hands of someone who knows the gun and ammo, 300 yard hits are not unbelievable. The biggest problem is the wind. .22 benchrest is shot at 50 yards and ther...

Re: Cooper Question
You can specify either base with your order. The people at Cooper are very willing to make your rifle the way you want it. By the way I have the same rifle, you will love it!

Re: Which scope for AR .204???
Take a look at the Nikon Buckmaster 6x18. It comes with side focus and very good optics for the money. I have several and I have been very happy with them. They are not equal to my Nightforce or Lupy but they are great when you need to scope several rifles with good glass.

Re: advice on Thompson Encore
Steve, I had an Encore in 22/250 That was very good, .5 or better with good loads. The only thing I didn't like wa the long lock time due to the exposrd hammer design. A couple of my shooting pals use them and love them. Good luck.

Re: We Won!!!
Even though this a major victory for gun owners, it is just a battle in a major war. Now more than ever it is important to join the NRA and give what you can so we can defeat the rest of the crazy gun laws in the rest of the country,ie SF and Chicago. By the way Rick its good to see you back. I just...

Re: (off topic) Send one up for the miners
My daughters new brother-in-law was the IMSHA inspector killed in the rescue attempt. We all owe the miners of the country a big thank you and our prayers for the families and other miners. We all know it is hard and dangerous work, but we sometimes forget the stress on the family.

Re: Nikon Monarch or Leupold VX-II
I bought a Nikon 6x18 sf with the bullet drop reticle and took it off because the crosshairs are too thick for small varmints way out there. I also have a Leupy with the varmint reticle and it is great. If you go with a multiple reticle, make sure the crosshairs are what you want. My 2cents. If you ...

I sent my reply, not that it will do any good, but you never know. If every gun owner would take the time to vote and get two more people to vote, maybe we could start to take back our great country from the crazy's that don't read history and don't have the guts to fight for what is right and our w...
