FS: Leupold VariX-III 3.5-10x40 Matte Duplex Final $$$ Drop

Hey guys. Scope is about 2 years old. Never saw much use....mainly sat in the safe on a .223. Glass is absolutely perfect. Is mounted in Talley Rings. There are 2 superficial 1/4" long safe marks. I can get pics if desired. Hardly noticeable....but I wanted to know if you look up close they are...

Re: AR-15 Rings

Yes, they should work. However, for me, the scope would sit way too low. It would be very hard to get my line of sight that down low to see thru the scope. That is why I had to go with a riser. This is what I have and I have NO complaints about it. It is built strong and that is what I was looking f...

Re: Weird Accident......

Yikes Steve! My best friend had an Austrailian shepard when we were growing up. Very nice dog! And yes....about 2 months ago P-nut found out what a skunk was. He was snowplowing w/ his front legs and face thru the snow pushing with his rears trying to get the smell off him right after it happened! F...

Weird Accident......

So today was just one of those days, you all know what I am talking about......, where everything I did was messed up, wrong, difficult, frustrating, and disgusting. For an example of one of them, I messed up on my random drug test for work and didn't give them enough pee......so I had to chug water...

Re: AR-15 Rings

If by picatanny rail you mean and A3 flat top upper, I use a bsquare riser w/ the 3 torque screws to secure it down. Then on top of the riser I use Burris Sig. Zee rings or Burris XTR rings. If it is a flat top, you will need a riser in my opinion......I think mine was around $50-60 shipped from Mid...

Re: Springfield XD

I have heard good things about them. I don't own one, but my FFL does and he loves his. If you are worried about the reliability, then why don't you just get a GLOCK? -Dan

Re: What I just Learned

Some people say that the .204 requires a "jump" into the lands. It is not like other cartridges that you load up to or into the lands. Unless you buy a barrel that has been custom reamed for no free bore space. I have gone up to .035 off the lands but I made the powder charge less and work...

Re: What I just Learned

Chambers for the .204 are really long compared to other caliber rifle chambers that people load to .030" off the lands. 2.250 is the loaded length it says to load in the manuals. Some people just load out to a length that will fit in their magizine. What rifle do you have? I load mine for my LR...

Re: Competition dies or not / Sizing Nosler Brass

I know that the Redding comp. dies are more expensive. But you WONT regret them once you buy them. I now have the full comp. sets for my .204, .223, and my .308. Once I used them, after buying both RCBS and regular Redding die sets for both my .204 and .223's I didn't even bother buying anything els...
