reticles for target shooting

I'm lookin to pick up a scope just for the purpose of working up a load.
what would work better a target dot or mil-dot. That the only chioce I've been given in the scope I'm gonna get.

Yea... I can think of a coupla differnt calibers I'ld rather use,BUT, this poor white boy's only gonna use what hes got, so I'ld better make it count. Sides iffen I actually get a cross hair on im within a year I'll be suprised.

Mountain lion?? whatcha think? do'able? say within 200 yrds, 40 or even 45,or 50 gr bullet.

this place makes me think WAY too much. That, and the desire to spend large quantities of cash on shootin stuff is drivin me nuts. The thouhts of the one holer, man how can you guys stand it it.

Thanks Rick I geuss I read to fast. cuase what I said jest didn'e make any sence to me. I've got my bullets seated just deep enough to reliably feeed from the magazine.

Been lurkin around fer awahl. Been reloadin fer a few yers also. the bi g gap kinda freeked me out. Jest recently got tha barrul broke in. Ain't sure about the best groups jest yet. I figure it's good enough to hunt with fer now. Once we get more daylight I'll have more time to play with all tha det...

First off, hello, my name is Hutch20 and I'm a .204aholic ;) Second, what's up with the HUGE gap :shock: between my bullets and the rifling. Has anyone tested to see if there is a measureable difference in accuracy between the factory GAP :eek: and the much more bareable custom offerings? Thank you ...
