I tried the 39 Speer(mollied) over 27.3grs of XBR-8208 in my Savage LRPV just changing the OAL. 2.315" and 2.325" shot sub half-inch groups, but anything longer just opened up the groups. Velocity was in the 3750 fps range. Nothing to write home about.

Ok, I've viewed your ad a number of times now with an itch, but I need more info. Like how many rds thru it, factory or handloads. Is it modified in any way? Condition? like ding etc.

I wonder why the factories have never switched the rifling on the .204 from the present 1x12 to a much better 1x11??
