A pleasent suprise today.

A few weeks ago I was riding around looking for a few farms to do some groundhog hunting in. I found one and got permission to hunt. He told me to come back on another day(Sundays) so he could show me where to hunt. I thought this was strange because in SW VA most farmers can point off of their porc...

I shoot 39gr.BK's in my Savage as well. But I have an Encore that shoots 32's alot better than 39's.

Are you guys getting better results with the 32gr. BK, or the 32gr. V-Max? I know it really depends on the gun, but everyone is doing well with the 39gr. BK. I would like to try the 32gr.BK, but I don't want to end up wasteing money if their score is not as good as the 39gr. Are they as user friendl...

I just went to the Bud's gun shop web page and saw they had a varmint supreme for well under $600. Very good lookin' gun w/ thumbhole.

The first load that has worked for me has been
T/C Encore

32gr. V-Max
28.5gr. Varget
group size- .236

The 2nd load I like is for a Savage I just got.

I like the 270 as well. But a few years back,I was able to get a great deal on a Savage in 7mmSTW. I love this gun. I have never reloaded for this gun, but plan to start soon. Thanks for the test. I'm glad to see it's not as slow as I thought. I guess after I get my 2nd 204, I am going to have to invest in a chroney.
