Dusted off the ol' 204 yesterday.
I just wanted to make sure my Savage was still on. I threw a couple down the barrel just to see if point of aim was still the same.(it was) So I decided to shoot a group. I squeezed .112" of of her . That aint bad considering I have only got about $700 in rifle and scope.

Finding 204 brass on-line.
How is it that Midway is on backorder for 204 brass(win.) and most of the other big boys has it in stock. I orderd 200 cases back in March from Midway and was told they were on backorder, but it should only be a few days. I cancelled my order on April 19 because they were still on backorder and no e...

Re: 17 HMR and PD's
Well, I got my 17 today . A Marlin with a bull barrel. Also put a Nikon 3-9x40 w/bdc on top. I don't know how the BDC works with the 17 tradj. but I figured for $10 more, what the hay. I don't know when I am going to get to shoot it. It has been windy it seems like every free day I get.

S&W Sigma inaccuracy
Just bought a new Sigma 2 weeks ago ang have put about 80 rounds through it. It is hitting very low and to the right. I contacted S&W customer support about the matter. It is Saterday so I will not hear back until Monday. How is S&W to deal with? I have never had to deal with them before.

Re: Barrel break-in for semi-auto?
Well I did in fact purchase a S&W sigma 40s&w on Monday. I know I could have done better. But for what I paid for I am quite happy. I didn't get it for c&c or anything like that. I really just got it to go shoot it. If it turns out I really like shooting pistols a lot, then I may get an ...

I need CCI BR4 primers
I have looked everywhere. And all over the net. Is there a little known site I should look at. Or is there another primer I can use which is very similar?

Re: 17 HMR and PD's
Went to the gun show on Saterday, but didn't get anything. Wife would not leave me alone long enough :wall: . I went with my dad, and he kept saying get the Marlin. Of the Marlins with a bull barrel, they ranged from $219-$320. He kept teling me he got his w/ bbl at the Wally World for $209. I had n...

Re: Looking for a new way...
I have kinda got the same problem. I have $1750.00 in 20's rolled up in my gun safe waiting for the gun show on Saterday. Been saving for a while :D We were watching a shooting show the other night. Had an AR on there. I told her that was what I was going to get. She said she would shoot me with it ...

Barrel break-in for semi-auto?
Is it the same as a rifle? I am going to go to the local gun show on Saterday. S&W sigma 9 or 40, Taurus PT24/7, or Ruger SR9. I don't know yet :chin: . Should I still shoot once, clean, shoot, clean? Or can I just shoot at a normal pace and clean it when I am done? I am thinking that since MOA is ...

Re: 17 HMR and PD's
Looked at some 17s today at the sportsmans warehouse when I went to look at handguns. The CZ452 is a nice looking weapon. I liked the barrel length of the American, but the heavy barrel of the varmint. Would the extra 1" or so of barrel on the american really help somethind like the 17? Or do t...

Re: Opinion about Taurus handguns.
I don't think I can afford even a used Sig. But I did go to the Sportsmans warehouse today and did a comparison. S&W Sigma, Taurus, and Ruger. All were in the same price range, and all were 40sw. The sigma had the worst trigger of the 3. The Taurus had the sloppiest feeling action. The Ruger(P94 ...
