Ok I see the problem....its obvious to me that the prairie dog in the bottom picture clearly could not see the bullet coming. His peekers are missin

Re: Coyote God's Forum
Seems kind of odd to me.....I have met friends from places over 1000 miles away from internet forums. There is one guy who posts here that doesn't live a mile from me and I have yet to meet him. Chatted a few times but never met the guy. Hey 'race4hills' gotta make it out to the farm for a couple da...

Re: Coyote God's Forum
Did n't mean to come off harsh, I got friends from all over that come to shoot with me. That would include IL, LA, MO, KS, CO, OH and all of them I know from the internet/gun forums. Our own 'joghotrod' made a trip (1100 miles) to shoot pds with me. Great time too This would be Jimmy puttin the hamm...

Re: Coyote God's Forum
Last time I made amens my ex-wife made a fortune (there were some harsh words exchanged there I'll guarantee it). Regardless, I have been to the site, just often enough it dumps my password everytime. I read John Henrys terms and with my usual grain of salt I took it. No doubt there is much to learn...

Re: 1st PD Shoot
You'll have to trust me on this but 'joghotrods' Dtech is an absolute nightmare on pds and it has a reach not seen with your typical 1-12 twisted .204. If Jimmy doesn't post somethin then I guess I 'll have to....afterall my wife tooks the pics.

Re: Its elk season guys any body going?
Yep my young son is pretty spoiled when it comes to big game hunting. Up to this point we hunt deer/antelope on the farm and if you shoot one most of the time you can get a vehicle pretty close. Its also flat. With this being his first elk hunt he is in for a whole new world. In my much younger/dumb...

Re: Coyote God's Forum
Read there...never posted there. You have to really step yourself up to the plate to refer to yourself and your friends as "gods". Not even close.......... I have had people .....real ranch people who actually own and raise cattle read some of their drivel and it always makes them laugh. W...

He currently has a reminder that stares back from the mirror at him everyday. He stills thinks the .300 Win mag is the gun of choice.glenn asher wrote:skb, remind your son to watch out for those scopes, they can ding you in the eye .

Re: Range Rookies
As much as I hate to there are times when the local rifle range is my only option due to time constraints. This year in order to prep for an antelope hunt i had to sneak away to the local range. Thinking that ....hey its a weekday, its early, I'll get in, get out. Nope, no such luck. I did however g...

Re: Its elk season guys any body going?
I am going, not hunting but going at least not right away. This year is my sons first year elk hunting and he drew a very coveted elk license in a great place. Here in CO we have a program called Ranching for Wildlife where large ranch owners allow a very very small number of public hunters on their...

Re: My sons 2007 CO 'lope buck
ryan - Where we hunt antelope is all farm land ....in particular winter wheat about right now. As you can probably guess there is little if any cover and it takes a few tricks to get even that close most of the time. Since it is all family farm land we get alot of opportunity to practice long range ...

Re: Shooting property in USA
I have been watching some Coyote hunting videos, and I sometimes see cars driving in the background when someones taking a shot! How do you guys get places to hunt on over there? It almost looks like you just pull off the side of the road and start calling in Coyotes. Am I missing something? Coyote...

Re: My sons 2007 CO 'lope buck
Actually the boy had blood running down both sides of his nose. When we drove up it scared the heck out of me. i thought maybe thegun blew up. We cleaned him up and othr than being a little dinged he was good to go. This one is mine from earlier the same day........... 507 yds. and he dropped right ...

My sons 2007 CO 'lope buck
The CO 2007 antelope season ended quite well for my son this year.....except for the fact that he neglected to respect the recoil and eye relief of a .300 Win Mag. This is Sunday afternoon, winter wheat on the farm and we had my son staked out in a fence post weed clump next to a two track field roa...
