Yes........29.3 gr. RL-15 under a 32 gr. Sierra BK lit with a BR4 primer is my first choice. Both guns shoot it quite well. Like I said it doesn't matter to me either way because I've seen what both will do with box of Hornady 32 gr. Vmaxs, factory loads. I just don't like buying factory loads.

Count me in.

I have a factory stock rifle and a factory stock rifle with a custom barrel only. I'll leave it up to whoever to determine the class. I would vote to leave ammo type out of it (factory vs. handloads) but it doesn't matter to me either way.

It would seem that your die may not be able to size the fired case down enough to chamber in your rifle. If that is the case and you want to fix this condition there is a simple way to do that. You can turn .010" of the bottom of the die.

A guy on another site (yep I'm on other sites) disliked his VGs so much he gave them away for shipping. He gave me 36 of them and I was not impressed at all. Shooting them from a Shilen barreled .221 that is normally a very very accurate rifle ....they were only so so. So so doesn't get it when you ...

could just as likely be 'gun issues' as ammo issues.

My load was 34 gr. Dogtown HP .204" 29.3 gr. of WW748 BR-4 primer WW cases 5 times fired Just a point I observed. They must have the worst BC of any 20 cal bullet, definitely the worst I have tried. I used up my last of them this last weekend and I will never use them again. For a couple bucks ...

No shortage of remaining targets although they tend to be a bit more cautious. Son got one double for sure but I think I was blanked on those. I did however get two jacks that wandered out in the field...in harms way so to speak.

Got back last night from a great trip. Yesterday we discovered a new area or actually an old area with different access. Made all the difference too. We set up and shot one spot for nearly three hours and probably killed 150 or so before the heat and black flies got to us. We did the umbrella thing ...

Those late March windy cold days are not the days you count hits in the hundreds. There have been days when 10 good hits was all I could stand. I would be concerned with having a good time. I just had a friend meet me out on the farm to shoot pds. He drove all the way from Louisiana to shoot. I was ...

not killing machines just lucky. Once the novelty wears off I am content to shoot a few and go do something else for a while. Its family farm land so there are always plenty of things that need done and never enough time to get them done.

By the time day two rolls around for us we get far more selective about our shots. So even if a great day is a couple hundred on day two we may only get 100 or so. Late summer we go into the "scouting for deer and antelope" mode so pds take a backseat to that.

For quickest load development and sight ins I will go to Cherry Creek Res. Rifle Range but thats always kinda scary (best to go during slow times and never just before hunting season). I guess there just not that many folks I trust with guns. I shoot mainly out east almost to KS, my sister farms 120...

Re: .22-250 and Speer "TNT"

Sorry, but I had to brag on my 5 shot 100yd group shot with a FACTORY XR-100 last weekend. This was the 50 grain Speer over 34.2gn of Varget. The same bullet performed very well with 34.2gn of N140 also. I think Mr. Dog would not enjoy my results as much as I did. I have to say. That 4th and 5th sh...
