I was recently at my grandparents in Kingman,AZ, and on the way I stopped at BassPro shops in Vegas and saw their redhead scopes. I believe it was like a Alpine,or someting or other that started with an a,model. Are these scopes any good or are they just junk? I have been looking for a low cost 22 s...

I killed Skippy on thursday with my HMR. There were actually a couple out.And we had one or two nice days out here this week. Can't wait for spring.

Exactly where did you go? :D I recognize that country as well. Looks like its around Diamond, if you know where that is, but I won't butt into your hunting spot. ;) good coyote country around here.

I got a Savage 12FV and it was a sweet shooter with the factory stock. I some loads into about 3/8 of an inch, 5 shots. :D Then I got a Boyd thumbhole stock, but now I don't have any good loads to work with it. :? I just purchased a VXll 6-18x40 leupold and put it on my .204. It is one of the clearest scopes I have looked through. They even put a 4'' sunshade in at no extra cost. I agree with Rick leupold is one, if not is, of the best optic choices out there.
