Re: coyote bullet
Go with the bergers. With the 39 SBKs you run the risk of having splashes, plus you don't need .5 MOA accuracy for coyotes.

Re: 35 bergers for yots
35 grain Bergers are the only way to go for yotes 26 grains of Benchmark works pretty well in three different rifles. I've heard of other guys using this load too.

Re: AR 204 Upper
Off of a bench I really like mine. Packing it around coyote hunting can get old, but it's doable.

I have a DPMS and it shoots really really well. My dad has a White Oak upper and it also shoots great.

Re: Hornady 32 vmax enough for coyote?
Just be careful to not hit any big bones, or else you will get splashes. If it shoots around .75"-1" with the 40 grain bullets use those. 1" is plenty good enough for coyotes. I have seen a coyote hit at 400 with a 35 Berger and it went about 30 yards.

Re: IMR 4895?
I don't know why it isn't used more, but it works GREAT in my .204, had some .3 " groups with both the 39 and 32 SBKs.

Coyote
My dad drew an antelope tag after applying for 15 years. We went out scouting Tuesday. Saw two bucks right off the bat, one small one and one average buck. Found a place that would be good to call ( once a coyote hunter, always a coyote hunter). Didn't get anything, but the next hill over looked REA...

Re: Which brass
I use Winchester. I had the same problem as Rick with Hornady, I couldn't uniform the primer pockets. I'm thinking about trying some Nosler brass.

Re: .243 AI Load Workup (pics)
Went out this morning to get my drop figures. I shot from 300-500 yards. 300 and 350 stayed at about 1/2 -3/4 MOA, but at 400 yards I put the 3 shots into a .882 group  I know it was only 3 shots, but I'm not going to complain :D 450 was about 1 1/4 MOA and at 500 I didn't compensate for wind s...
