Couple more LR Rockchucks

Well, I hate to admit it but I let Ben (Verminator2) convince me that yesterday (Saturday) was May 1st. (He actually did think it was May 1.) I gave him a hard time about not getting his mother any flowers and set aside our 1000 yard rock chuck rule. (See previous post.) It was probably a good thing...

Pretty sad when they all revolve around dead rodents!!

I think my wife would appreciate me elevating the rest of the goals in my life.... :o

Re: Cooper .20 Vartarg & Rockchucks

Love the pictures, Rick! Love that rock chuck hunting , too! Wish I had an excuse to really get after them. We're still waiting on May and only "going long" right now. Guess I need to post up some pics from the big boomers. I bet it was like shooting elephant after shooting Skippy! Keep us...

WTG, Jeff! Beautiful country and long range varmint hunting in one place! The only thing better is using a Cooper .204 to do it! Congrats.

Re: Spring Varmints & 204's (Pics)

Nice to see a little sunshine in the pictures, Rick! 600+ on a 'rat!!! That's pretty danged impressive. I went to the ranch this week and couldn't help testing the wares a bit. :D Came home and prepped about 250 cases for the .204 and loaded a few .243AI rounds for our LR rockchucks. Looks lik...

Re: Cooper 20VT Meets Skippy

Thanks for the report and the plug on our hunts, Rick. Glad you guys made it out. Mother Nature has offered her challenges this Spring hasn't she? Looks like the next couple of days might be good though. That VarTarg is a Beaut! Once that .20 caliber bullet leaves the muzzle, Skippy doesn't care muc...

Re: some P Dogs

I wish our sage rats would stay up that long. Our "season" is relatively short between the hay growing and the 'rats going down for the summer. Gotta love prairie doggin', though!

Vartarg: Way to go buddy! Looks like a good multi-day adventure and a good way to really wring out your 204 in the field. Thanks for sharing the outing. Sounds like a great trip, Vartarg!
